Vietnam is a long country with difference weather in each region. It starts from tropical to sub-tropical zone so a part of Vietnam is cloudy & rainy, another one is sunny & warm. If you could flexible your time, the best weather condition is April – May & October - November.

For first time travelling to Vietnam, I would recommend you to visit the must-see places of Vietnam such as: Hanoi, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Halong Bay (one of the Seven New Wonders), Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh city. Depending on the length of trip, you can consider and choose the suitable destinations.

For your return to Vietnam, you can consider visiting Mai Chau, Ban Gioc Waterfall in norther parts of Vietnam, Da Lat – the highland in central part of Vietnam, Phan Thiet, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang in the Southern part of Vietnam.
It will depend on the length of your trip but ideally you can spend around 7 – 12 days to visit Vietnam.

Travel to Indochina – tropical & subtropical countries we would like to give you some advices for your necessary packing below:
-Print out & bring all your travel documents: Flight/train tickets, Trip confirmation voucher/invoice, time table and itinerary which you get from us.
- The passport with valid at least 6 months from date you travel to Vietnam with necessary document for visa if required.
- Your driver licenses (if you plan to hire a car) or diving (if you join the diving trip).
- Your personal health required like: First-aid kit, personal medication & vitamins, Sun scream (+25), sunglasses, aspirin and/or paracetamol…
- Clothes should bring ones which easy to wash and fast drying suitable with weather on the date you travel (check weather or ask your consultants before you come); comfortable shoes/ sandals.
- Insect repellent: if you travel in summer and visit the Mekong Delta; rural area.
- Money: cash/credit card, money belt to keep your money from stolen.
Travel insurance is available for traveler to join our Indochina tours but you should have full coverage travel insurance from your home. It would be more helpful in case of some emergency situation which you could not come to Vietnam because the insurance cover hospital & Medical expenses.
Indochina Countries don’t have any official vaccinations required, however you should immunize some types of infectious diseases like cholera, hepatitis, typhoid, tetanus, polio…. Also Indochina are developing countries, there are many rural areas so you should bring your mosquito repellent. In additional, some types of medicines for Headaches, diarrhea, constipation, insect bites, sore throats, eye drops, cuts, etc are easy to find in local, however you could bring them for urgent need.
