Oan Lagoon

Located in Bai Tu Long Bay

Oan Lagoon is an islet located in the less tourist area of Bai Tu Long Bay. This islet is 22 meters tall and 5 km to the east of Bai Chay tourism port. From far away, you can see its shape looks like a Vietnamese cake ( Oan Cake ) which is made to be one of the offerings to the Buddha. This place is very interested by the French because a famous French actor came here in 1992 for some film scenes in the movie "Indo-China". And now, on the island, tourists can still find the scenes of this movie like to long way straight to the ocean which is called the slave pier or the blocks which were used to be the jail
