Opened in 2008, Angkor Golf Resort is one of three international-standard golf clubs in Cambodia, beside Phokeethra Country Club and Siem Reap Booyoung Country Club. The Angkor Golf is also voted as the top three new golf courses in Aisa. This is a designed masterpiece of the legendary Nick Faldo, a winner of 6 major championships and 39 tournaments worldwide. The classic and contemporary course has well-maintained fairways, greens and the latest Paspalum turf ensuring the excellent year-round playing conditions.

Constructed on a former paddy, the golf course contains 18 holes bar and 7279 challenging yards in total. The 600-plus-yard, par-5 third hole is a highlight of play at Angkor. The longest hole on the golf course, it begins with a tee shot through a narrow gap in the trees. Water runs down the entire left side of the hole but really comes into play only on the second shot and the approach. The green is long and narrow and is hard by the water's edge, making par a very good score.
