Loved the trekking in Sapa! Incredible experience. Guide, trekking, villages, beauty, food, everything.

Breakfast at the hotel was a bit disappointing.

Nice hikes, beautiful landscape; it was very interesting to learn about the life and culture of locals

We would have liked to learn even more about the region/culture/agriculture from our guide. We felt a bit pressured by the local ladies selling their merchandise

The hotel in town was great and center to everywhere. I enjoyed a lot for the 2 days. The trekking was awesome and should not be missed even though 2 different guides for both days. Mr Thai and Mr Thanh were awesome guide and I know a lot from them. They are very informative and their English is awesome too! Definately will visit Sa Pa again in near future.

"Sapa is worth it"

Nice views from the hotel. The room was clean. The guide was nice during the trekking.

Long trip to get to Sapa is the only thing I would say. It's worth it though.

"Excellent and the entire trip was so well organized"

We booked the 2 day trekking (hotel stay) with best price vietnam. The communication during the planning phase was excellent and the entire trip was so well organized. Nature didn't exactly cooperate but the rice terraces were amazing, regardless. The staff at the Fansipan View went out of their way for us - overall, an excellent adventure and a quick peak at north Vietnam.

"Fantastic as well very courteous"

It was so great that you arranged the guide to take us to the station. This took so much pressure from us. And it was great to have a friendly face waiting for us to take to Sapa once the train arrived. We had a nice shower and breakfast then our room was ready for us at about 8.45 which was fantastic. The guide that we had at Sapa Hien was fantastic as well very courteous and considerate.

The only negative comment i have is that the hotel did not provide complemenary water for its guests and the fridge and tv were on the same plug so we could either have cold contents of the fridge or watch tv not both, the gentleman on the front desk of the hotel however was fantastic and very friendly and helpfull.

"Thanks BestPrice for the tour"

Early checkin and late checkout were well worth it! Tour was nicer on the second day. But that gave us the opportunity to rest on the first day since we did not get much sleep on the train.

The train is not the easiest to sleep on... but this was to be expected. Also did help to have the entire cabin to ourselves

"Really enjoyed "

Really enjoyed

Train both ways was only negative - freezing going with only a sheet bag provided cabins chartered by other companies had quilts - very important! On return light directly outside glass panelled door and had to make a curtain. Still no quilt or blanket, just an extra sheet bag

What is the best time of year to visit to Sapa. We were thinking of going in 1st week of January 2020 but realise we think this is Winter? We want to see green rice paddy fields and go on Sapa tour but maybe a different time of year is better?
Response from BestPrice Travel
Hi Sapa is the mountainous area, the weather is quite cold, and people have only 01 season for the rice, start from May and finish on Sep So if you would like to see the green/golden paddy filed, you and visit Sapa from May to Sep However, the beauty of Sapa is from mountain, streem, falls, ethnic village, so you can visit Sapa all time of the year Cheers
