We will give full mark of 10 to all services. All excellent in every way. Guide Kee was very sincere, efficient and friendly without over the top like some guide and spend considerable time with all passenger to answer all our questions. We have done several cruises, but this Cruise comes top due to the beautiful mountain view both side all the way.

Only thing I felt lucking is direct confirmation from Luang Say company when booking through travel agent independently. More information about where their representative is meeting us at the Thai boarder. We were a little earlier and didn't see them. Also how cold it gets on the moving boat in winter… More

Thanks very much for your assistance in organizing this- we had tried with the actual organization and did not receive any replies!,

(The reason for this being that we found visiting the village themselves uncomfortable and rather than truly learning about the culture it felt more as though we were just rudely invading).

We really enjoyed the cruise and found the guides to be friendly, knowledgeable and with an excellent level of spoken English. They looked after us really well and we had several interesting conversations with them about life in Laos. The boat was clean and well maintained.

The lodge has individual small “rustic” villas with lots of wood decoration. They are clean and comfortable but without air conditioning and due to the way the villas are built there is no way to close the shuttered windows with louvers to prevent mosquitoes from coming in

no cabins, but excellent lodge……………
The positives were the relaxing nature of the cruise, fantastic lodge overnight, and we met some really lovely other travellers. The scenery is superb, the boat very comfortable and clean and we felt very safe.

The negatives, excursions are a bit ho hum, perhaps we have seen too many local villages on other trips. I found the English speaking guide quite easy to understand, but others did not.
