Hoa Lu - Trang An Full Day
Morning
08:00: We will gather at the designated meeting spot and then proceed to the Ninh Binh Province.
Visit the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - the first capital of Vietnam which is known as a place that preserves the country's historical relics through the ages.
Proceed to the neighboring temples of Emperor Dinh and Le. These are two places built in the 17th century with meticulous wood and stone carvings where you can learn some fascinating stories about the two heroic kings of Vietnam.
Later on, your lunch will be provided with regional specialties at a local restaurant.
Afternoon
Travel in a boat rowed by locals across the tremendous Trang An - UNESCO's world cultural and natural heritage. When sitting on the boat, you can admire the limestone mountains, rich flora and fauna, and the graceful river flowing through the caves.
Arrive back in Hanoi by car at 16:00.

I recently went on a trip to Ninh Binh and it was truly amazing! The journey started with a hotel pick up. Once we arrived in Ninh Binh, we visited Bai Dinh. The halls and pagodas were simply breathtaking. The whole place was massive and truly spectacular.

After our visit to Bai Dinh, we headed to Trang An for a buffet meal in the heart of the mountains. The food was delicious, and it was lovely to take some time to relax and soak up the stunning scenery. We then went on a trip on the rowing boats in the rivers of Trang Anh. It was such an incredible experience to meander around the imposing mountains and pass through several caves. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure! Less
Thang in Ninh Binh was also an excellent English speaker. He was willing to change our itinerary for us, which was a plus.and took us on a nature walk instead of the second boat trip. The only negative was the second restaurant we at at in Ninh Binh. The food was very mediocre and the service unfriendly. I would never choose to go back there and I think you should look into another option Less
Rosie organized a two-day private excursion to Mai Chau, a group tour to Ninh Binh, and a private motorcycle around Hanoi for us. She organized and responded quickly. Our experience was excellent.
