There are 2 vessels designed in an ocean color palette with different deck plans and capacities.

Mon Cheri 1 (18 cabins)

Most Family Cabins are located on Mon 1 - perfect for those who travel with kids as children can make new friends and play together.

On the first deck, you can find the reception lounge and 10 Ocean Suites (including 2 pairs of family-connecting). Each room has an area of 35m2 with a small balcony.

The second deck boasts a restaurant, 05 Elegance Suites, 01 Elegance Balcony, and 02 Mon Cheri Terrace Suites with a larger space from 45m2 to 55m2.

All suite rooms are located at the stern, separated from other standards for larger balconies, widest bay view, and quieter with more privacy.

The top deck is the sundeck area with a jacuzzi pool, gym, and sun loungers for you to relax and witness the pretty bay.

Mon Cheri 2 (24 cabins)

Like Mon 1, the first two decks of Mon 2 have most of the staterooms. As the only President Suite is on the 2nd deck and located right at the prow, it is not only the largest but also has the best 180-degree view.

On the third deck is 01 Elegance Family Connecting, a restaurant, and an outdoor jacuzzi pool at the stern. If traveling with kids, booking the family cabin here is a wonderful choice as it is like having a shortcut to all of the most important services & facilities on board.

The sundeck, including every relaxing activity, is the ideal place for anyone who seeks to chill out on board. This is where you can find the panoramic bar, keep fit at the gym, exhilarate at the spa, tan on the sun loungers, or play golf.

Only a few 5-star boats provide this deluxe service. Ideally situated on the top deck, the mini golf course offers a luxury playground with a spectacular 360-degree bay view. The luxury dining area has a capacity of up to 55 guests on Mon 1 and 70 guests on Mon 2. The restaurants are impressively large with all tables staying right next to the glass ground-level window so everyone can enjoy meals while admiring the stunning views of the bay without worrying about seat location.

Located at the rear on the third deck, the 4-season pool with an integrated jacuzzi is a perfect place for guests to wind down. This pool is one of the biggest in the bay (15m2) and is the only one designed with 2 stainless artificial waterfalls - super gorgeous for Instagrammable photos and videos.

For anyone who is not a fan of water, you still can have a lavish check-in time with luxury sofas settled right next to the pool. Just imagine how fancy you are on Instagram, sitting by an infinity pool and having a sip of a tropical cocktail.

During the 2-day-1-night itinerary, visitors will follow a schedule with the routes to explore Lan Ha Bay - Tra Bau - Trung Trang Cave. The 3-day-2-night trip will add the trip to Viet Hai Village in Cat Ba Island.

Additionally, Mon Cheri Cruise offers a sunset party, squid fishing onboard, and other attentive services such as laundry, room cleaning, honeymoon setup, special events, and in-room breakfast.

You will fully enjoy lavish meals on board with a wide range of cuisine from European to Asian for each meal. The usual time for breakfast is 6:45 - 7:15, 13:00 for lunch, and 19:30 for dinner.

The bus will pick you up at approximately 8:00 - 8:30 from either No. 16 Thi Sach Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, or from your hotel within the Hanoi Old Quarter.

After a 2-day-1-night inspection trip, I highly recommend Mon Cheri Cruise to anyone who seeks a 5-star cruise experience with an affordable price tag. The ship offers a perfect balance of classic elegance and modern amenities, making it an excellent choice for both families and couples.

Facilities & Amenities: 9.5/10

The cruise line frequently updates its 5-star quality by offering fully equipped amenities and well-appointed cabins. My Ocean Suite Balcony is tastefully decorated with modern designs. The cabin size of 35m2 is quite large for the two of us. However, it might be a bit tight if there is an extra bed.

Pros

• Super fancy 4-season Jacuzzi on top deck which is much bigger than on the image - a must for Insta
• Large cabin with smart design create a comfortable atmosphere, no empty feelings
• Spacious sundeck including colorful mini golf with panoramic view - what a chill tee time
• Elegant decor mixed artistic breath with beautiful paintings and sophisticated details

Cons

• No bathtub in the Ocean Suite Balcony it feels quite cold and spacious for a normal en-suite bathroom with a shower only
• Poor soundproofing for the gym, too early morning practice may disturb the guests next door

As a meat-allergic person, I find Mon Cheri a pleasing cruise with vegan dishes and attentive chefs. Overall, the cruise focuses on various culinary options emphasizing Asian cuisine. However, the food is generally good, not a highlight point.

• Western and Indian cuisine is the standout, with fresh dishes and great fusion
• Some must-try dishes include seafood and vegan dishes

Cons

• Breakfast options are limited, and they may not suit everyone's taste

At the time of inspection, I took a kayak at Dark & Bright Cave, a pretty but touristic water cave suitable for nature lovers. Currently, the itinerary has changed to Trung Trang Cave perfect for historical and geographic enthusiasts. Overall, there are a variety of activities that cater to different interests and ages.

Pros

• Kayaking through the stunning limestone formations is a highlight of the excursion
• Discovering Viet Hai Village and Ba Trai Dao is highly recommended by 3D2N cruisers
• The cooking class with the humorous chef is an enjoyable and engaging experience

Cons

• What a loss for removing Dark & Bright Cave from the itinerary as it’s the most interesting location for kayaking
