Siem Reap - Phnom Penh - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Cai Be - Tan Chau
9.7 Excellent Based on 3 reviews

Overview

River cruising is the ideal way to explore Indochina, see the mighty Mekong and cruise from Saigon to Siem Reap. There is no need to unpack your suitcase each day as new destinations are explored along the way. Explore one of the world’s great rivers on this boutique cruise on the Mekong, passing small riverside villages and sleepy temples that, being inaccessible by road, are well off the tourist trail. These river cruisers are the ideal way to explore remote locations while retaining access to luxury accommodation, facilities and food back on board. This journey can be taken either up or downstream, ending or beginning at the legendary temples of Angkor.

The limited cabins on the ship with few passengers was an added bonus. The crew onboard was the best we’ve ever witnessed on many other small ship cruises. The excursions into the small villages were informative. The included tours of Saigon and Cu Chi Tunnels before and the added Angkor Wat tour afterwards were personalized and having only our friends on those tours was very nice

Exceeded our expectations. Staff and food superb. Liked the ship layout - having our own private balcony was very important to us.

A small point - there was a plentiful supply of bottled drinking water but mostly it was not cold.
