In here, bustling life of Hanoians is reflected in the most vivid way with crowded streets of people trading with each other. The quarter consists mainly of 36 Old Streets divided and named according to their craft guides in the past, and remain most of that working system until now. Hanoi Opera House stands as the architectural, cultural and political symbol of the 1000 years old capital. Hanoi Opera House is located on the August Revolution Square, the center of Hanoi, near Hoan Kiem Lake and the Vietnam History Museum. The theatre, designed and overseen by the French, was constructed from 1901 and was finished in 1911. Its design is influenced by the European architectural style under the Renaissance period.

9.15am – Ride around the city, outside of the Old Quarter, where most tourists don’t visit such as: railway house and B52 bomber wreck site. Take a number of short stops to take photos and the Tour Guide Leader will take you on a foot to learn about the history of the sites

My friend and I had absolutely brilliant experience with BestTravel, we did couple of tours and I believe we will do couple more. To me there is no better way to see how a city functions, and to sink in to its pace of life. We only had half a day in Hanoi and this was an amazing way to see the sites.

The mopeds were extremely well driven by two articulate funny girls who were more than engaging in conversation.

A truly fantastic… More

Loved this! You must go. I admit I was a little nervous about getting on a motorbike with someone I didn't know driving, especially in this traffic-crazy city. But this Food Tour was a highlight of the trip. Jane and Nga were absolutely fabulous and we felt completely safe. The sites of the city that… More

I have to say after having been driven around the city in cars on other tours and seeing the traffic I was nervous at first about being on a motorbike but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Do not worry about being on a motorbike.

It is without a doubt the BEST way to see the city!
